End of Summer Schedule
Summer is almost over. Our Sunday morning worship service moves back to 10:00 am this Sunday, September 5th. It's held in the church, as usual. This week will be our final Tuesday evening service for the year. The Tuesday evening service begins at 7:00 pm. This service is a bit more casual and is held in the Fellowship Wing.
The Road To Emmaus
The Road To Emmaus DVD is a available for you––to view at home and to give to others. This 30 minute video focuses on that Easter appearance of Jesus to two of his disciples on their walk from Jerusalem back to their village of Emmaus. During their walk, Jesus' identity was hidden from them. "And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself." (Luke 24:27) After he revealed himself to them, he disappeared from their sight. They returned to Jerusalem to tell the Apostles and those with them that they had seen the risen Lord. You can read the entire story in Luke 24:13-35.
Take a copy home for your use, take a copy for a friend. This video is a great way to share your faith and to show how all of the Bible fits together and points to Jesus as the promised Savior.
